Elements of coaching

The ICC methodology defines the principles of session work very precisely, but each session is unique and reflects the unique situation of the client and the objective of the session. Below are some of the key principles of coaching.

Goal

During the session, the client is helped to identify very specific goals tailored to his/her specific situation.

values

A goal that does not reflect fundamental human values is just a nice slogan. In a coaching session, the client has the opportunity to clearly articulate his/her core values, which become a solid foundation for successful goal achievement.

Change

Coaching helps people to understand clearly what changes are needed in their lives to achieve their goals, and what obstacles need to be overcome to get there.

action

Simply knowing what you want and wanting to achieve it will never work if there is no concrete action to achieve it. It is only by going beyond the comfort of the everyday that a change in the everyday can be achieved.

Authorship

Everyone is the author of his or her own life. Knowing this liberates and empowers a person to achieve any goal. At the same time, it is a reminder that we are solely responsible for the direction of our lives and our own happiness.
